these are actually shortbread cookies. i modified the actual recipe a bit, making fingers instead of swirls.

the recipe yielded a 8 inch round cake (for a friend’s mum) and 12 cupcakes. if you make it all in cupcake form, i reckon you’ll get around 24-28.
