chocolate thumbprints

no-frills recipe – baked these during the march break. a shortbread base with chocolate filling, how can this go wrong?

recipe here. made a slight modification – i replaced the light corn syrup with butter to make the chocolate filling. this will ensure that the chocolate sets hard… and of course, hundreds and thousands for good measure.

    made dis yesterday…. sadly… my shortbread spread during baking.. so much so it turn to be like cookies… instead having wells like yars..
    follow the recipe from a to z… twice.. yet face the same problems 😦
    do u have any ideas why??

  2. awww i’m sorry to hear that su! i have no idea man… probably your dough was too soft. or oven temp a bit off…
