cinnamon raisin rolls

can someone tell me where to get cinnamon rolls in singapore? we used to have saint cinnamon until a few years back. there was also a shop at bugis junction opposite the swensen’s – i can’t recollect the name though. during a trip up to KL two weeks back, a friend and i got some from cinnabon.

i was supposed to complete marking two piles of essays today since practicum is coming to an end next week, but i am just too caught up with grey’s anatomy (yes, very late i know) and my hands got a little bit itchy and i decided to bake a batch of cinnamon raisin rolls. the last time i tried it was three or four years back and the attempt was futile. since then i got terribly horrified at the thought of baking with yeast but today’s attempt somewhat allayed my fears.

my mother commented that the insides weren’t fully cooked but i like it that way – a very subtle hint of yeast-iness. maybe i just have a penchant for half-cooked things. wonderful with a glass of cold milk on a rainy day. i’m a happy contented girl. now… back to mcdreamy and mcsteamy. šŸ™‚

recipe from here.

  1. Let me know when you’ve found out where to get cinnamon rolls here. The rainy days make me yearn for them warm ones so badly! And I’m with you on the yeasty flavour; I’m a fan as well šŸ˜›
