a couple of weeks ago i sms-ed hardee to ask him ask his mum for a cornflake cookie recipe. i particularly wanted the variety which had dried mixed fruit in them. i thought i ate those at his house, but he said that his mum didn’t put any fruit, it just had cashew pieces in them. and the type that she made was not flour-based, it just comprised cornflakes, honey, butter and the nuts.

then dear chitz posted this recipe and i was over the moon. 🙂 thank you once again! my mum usually makes orange cornflake cookies – and i thought this recipe is a nice refreshing change. i like the crunchy chewy texture and of course, the scattering of the dried mixed fruit. yummm. even the unbaked dough was good!

and today i bought this book.
